Hurricane Preparedness
Both the LCIA and the Urban Conservancy’s Stay Local! New Orleans are focused on connecting local businesses with each other, new markets and valued resources. Stay Local! supports a five-parish area around New Orleans working to help raise the visibility of Louisiana businesses and market them locally. Together, the LCIA and Urban Conservancy plan to start a joint continuity workshop in 2010 to show local business owners how to bounce back after the next big hurricane.
